Statement of Aims and Objectives

Locharwoods encourages an independent life-style hoping that Residents will enjoy a new lease of life, having the knowledge that attention is always available twenty-four hours a day if required. We have a relaxed and flexible routine and provide all the comforts of home, without the problems and worries.

We aim to help Residents to live with dignity, respect, and to live as full and active a life as their physical and mental condition will allow, and to enable them to achieve physical, intellectual, emotional and social potential, and to encourage self-motivation.

Locharwoods hopes to enable Residents to maintain their self respect, privacy of space, religious beliefs, different cultures, diets and to pursue their different hobbies, pastimes and social calendars.

Statement of Philosophy of Care

Locharwoods strives to take care of the requirements of the Residents to enable them to achieve, maintain, or restore an acceptable level of social independence or quality of life as defined by the needs of the individual Resident in their care.
